📋 Description

• Direct sales and business development to ensure overall branch profitability • Ensure the center achieves its goals and meets operational objectives • Develop employees through ongoing coaching and performance management • Recruit top talent to support continued center growth • Recruit, hire and train branch personnel • Provide motivation and support to achieve maximum production levels • Establish and control budget and income goals within company guidelines • Communicate and enforce team goals and performance standards • Monitor loan quality and ensure compliance with federal, state, regulatory and company policies and procedures • Coach, motivate, train, lead and conduct performance evaluations • Conduct meetings and presentations with referral relationships • Take customer residential mortgage loan applications and collect asset/income information • Analyze customer financial information to determine qualification for various loans • Advise customers on available mortgage options and products • Monitor and manage workflow to ensure timely closings • Define and manage customer expectations throughout the loan process • Maintain product knowledge and stay current on market condition changes • Negotiate mortgage rates and terms • Establish and maintain referral-source relationships and follow up on leads • Market, service and promote the company’s loan products

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum five years’ experience as a mortgage loan originator • Must be appropriately licensed by the applicable regulator in each state in which he/she takes a loan application • Demonstrated ability to recruit, hire and train branch personnel • Proven ability to successfully manage a sales team • FHA/VA & USDA experience preferred • NMLS certification preferred • Has two or more full-time direct reports
