• Perform detailed contract compliance audits to assess alignment with AIA billing standards • Validate that billed costs comply with contract requirements and industry norms • Apply working knowledge of AIA billing formats to identify anomalies • Support insurance auditing on construction projects • Conduct job cost reconciliations, costing matching, and support developer and landlord cost verification • Communicate audit results clearly and concisely
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field required • Certified Construction Auditor (CCA) preferred • CFE, PE, CCM, or PMP are pluses • 5+ years of hands-on experience in construction auditing, construction project management, or project engineering • Experience auditing AIA-format billings, GMP and CMAR contracts, job-cost structures, tenant improvement projects, data centers, distribution centers, or large capital portfolios preferred • Experience reviewing insurance costs, subcontracts, cost-plus agreements, change orders, or developer/landlord cost submissions preferred • Experience conducting completed project audits and monthly pay application reviews
