📋 Description

• Design, architect, build, and maintain secure and scalable AWS infrastructure in a multi-account hybrid environment based on AWS Organizations practices. • Develop and enforce cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance policies. • Implement and maintain infrastructure delivery pipelines to enable reliable and scalable cloud operations, collaborating with Software Engineering teams and leveraging AWS services. • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using tools like Terraform, and AWS Cloud native services. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Software Engineering teams to ensure cloud solutions meet business and compliance requirements. • Monitor cloud environments for performance, cost optimization, and security compliance. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. • Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for cloud-related issues. • Stay current with AWS services and industry trends to drive continuous improvement. • Share 7x24 rotational responsibilities for On-Call support. • Work with the Security and Compliance teams regarding risk mitigation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or comparable experience. • 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles with a focus on AWS. • Strong knowledge of AWS services equivalent to AWS Solution Architect or AWS CloudOps Engineer (AWS SysOps Administrator) – Associate certifications. • Experience with cloud governance frameworks, AWS Organizations, and policy enforcement. • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline). • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar). • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into the CI/CD process. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS). • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Event Bridge, Datadog, Splunk). • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
