• Deploy, integrate, and operate CruxOCM software in live process control environments through production use • Write, configure, and ship integrations, data flows, and state machine logic for site-specific systems and operating practices • Commission, test, and validate solutions in customer environments • Diagnose and resolve issues at the software, data, and control-system boundary • Own technical outcomes beyond go-live and feed field learnings, reusable connectors, and product gaps to engineering and product teams • Coordinate third-party commissioning and installation personnel while remaining accountable for technical results • Define success with operators and stakeholders, demonstrate operational value, and capture adoption and customer outcomes • Apply pipeline operations, hydraulic modelling/simulation, and management-of-change knowledge to scope and build solutions • Set up and configure Windows servers and OPC servers • Design HMI systems in SCADA environments • Collaborate with product, engineering, sales, and customers as the technical bridge between customer needs and product development • Report to the Forward Deployment Engineering Manager
• Bachelor’s degree or Technology Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Controls Engineering (or equivalent experience) • Extensive experience deploying and supporting complex software in mission-critical environments • Scripting or programming experience (Python, PowerShell, or similar) • Working knowledge of Windows Server and network administration • Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and time series databases • Ability to translate operational feedback into concrete changes in software logic • Experience writing specification documents and technical reports • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to review team members' work and provide constructive feedback • Autonomous, self-motivated, adaptable, and focused on continuous improvement with minimal supervision • Strong time management, prioritization, decision-making, and reliability • Sharp troubleshooting capabilities and responsible, detail-oriented work habits • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally up to 10% • Experience with AI-assisted development tools, industrial communication protocols, SCADA, pipeline operations, or hydraulic modelling/simulators is considered an asset
