• Install and configure Ascendon products and provide troubleshooting assistance as required • Monitor Ascendon solutions for functionality and performance, and recommend proactive remediation measures • Troubleshoot and fix bugs in Ascendon solutions • Automate and document Platform Engineer processes • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation • Collaborate with colleagues in the architecture and development teams • Install, configure, and upgrade third-party products and open-source solutions • Perform bi-weekly off-hour maintenance activities within the required maintenance windows
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with development and release processes • NATO SECRET (NS) security classification or willingness to undergo screening to obtain NATO Secret security clearance • Familiarity with AWS or equivalent public cloud platforms • Experience configuring, managing, and upgrading servers and software • Experience with database systems (MS SQL, MySQL) and web services (REST, SOAP) • Familiarity with version control, continuous integration, and delivery tools (Subversion, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory or related services such as Azure DevOps, Salt, AWS CodeCommit/Build/Pipelines, Bitbucket, or GitLab) • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
