• Assist the procurement and project management teams with coordination of project related activities • Assist the project manager in developing project plans and associated communications documents • Proactively assist with schedule development and milestone tracking • Assist the procurement manager with the management of vendor commitments and relationships • Effectively develop and communicate project status updates in a clear and concise manner • Manage communication flow for contract submittals, project reporting, invoicing, vendor submittals and other documentation between customer, project team, and suppliers • Liaise with both internal and external project stakeholders on an ongoing basis • Support subcontractor operations daily through coordination and scheduling • Take ownership of the subcontractor schedule including job flow and customer experience • Identify the critical path required to achieve a given task and manage until completion • Problem solve unique situations as they arise • Actively participate in developing and maintaining online business management tools used for the development and execution of all projects • Identify areas for process improvement and assist with creating and revising the process to ensure better efficiency and client experience • Support procurement manager in the development of requests for proposals and contract exhibits • Monitor the status of the project to ensure documentation is submitted according to schedule • Review and verify project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with contract requirements • Submit project proposals and documentation to management for approval and transmit approved documents to the customer • Use and promote excellent customer service soft skills • Understand and promote Canadian Solar products and offering • Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager/Director • Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline from a university or college • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience • Solid and effective interpersonal and communication skills (including oral, written, and visual) • Strong organizational and time management skills; Acute awareness and ability to manage deadlines • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Project • Proficient with Scheduling in MS Project • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally • Demonstrated independent thinking, initiative, and creativity • Ability to function successfully both independently and within a team • Demonstrated professional appearance and conduct • Ability to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends) as required • Valid Driver’s license and the ability to drive to work locations
