📋 Description

• Oversee and process accounts payable transactions within Yardi, ensuring accuracy and compliance • Serve as a liaison for the operations team and accounting, verifying the accuracy of third-party invoices • Maintain understanding of general ledger accounts and coordinate correction of coding errors • Collaborate with accountants and management on critical turnaround items, payment timing, and discrepancy resolution • Implement and maintain organized records and an efficient filing system • Follow up on inquiries, issues, and outstanding invoices • Lead internal projects, generate reports, and provide data-driven insights for decision-making and process improvements • Perform other related duties and assume additional responsibilities during peak periods

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or vocational school • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field, with a demonstrated history of increasing responsibilities • Proficiency with accounting software systems is required (Yardi experience is preferred) • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel • Ability to utilize 10-Key computer board efficiently • Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in processing financial data • Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage and resolve complex issues effectively • Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of prioritizing and managing a high-volume workload • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Advanced oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally
