⢠Provide tactical direction and vision to CVP's family of veterinary hospitals ⢠Oversee 13 to 17 veterinary hospital locations in the Northeast ⢠Ensure high customer service and quality of care for clients and pets ⢠Uphold medical and non-medical standards and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws ⢠Ensure hospital safety, cleanliness, organization, and regulatory readiness ⢠Assimilate new partner hospitals into the CVP family ⢠Develop and maintain business relationships with Practice Managers, Lead Doctors, and Associate Doctors ⢠Improve operational outcomes, revenue growth, inventory, purchasing, labor, and expense control ⢠Manage P&L and provide monthly reporting to the Core Leadership team ⢠Develop remediation strategies for financial and operational outcomes ⢠Supervise facility improvement projects ⢠Review hospital performance and key financial metrics ⢠Achieve profitable growth objectives for the assigned region ⢠Develop fiscal, strategic, and clinical processes with hospitals ⢠Implement proactive marketing strategies for revenue growth with the Marketing team ⢠Assist Business Development in identifying opportunities to acquire additional hospitals ⢠Develop leadership skills and engagement/accountability culture among hospital leaders ⢠Develop Practice Managers to surpass benchmarks ⢠Forecast staffing needs and initiate recruitment ⢠Partner with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources to recruit, select, develop, and mentor Doctors, Practice Managers, and teams ⢠Serve as escalation point for employee relations issues ⢠Maintain appropriate scheduling and Doctor coverage; approve time off for continuing education and PTO ⢠Recruit, manage, and develop assigned Practice Managers ⢠Perform other duties as assigned
⢠Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience ⢠Minimum of 8 years of Veterinary Practice/Management experience ⢠Preferably 3 or more years in multi-location management in a service industry role ⢠Prior knowledge of Veterinary Practice Management Software is preferred ⢠MS Office skills ⢠Leadership ⢠Decisiveness ⢠High Emotional Intelligence ⢠Analytical Skills ⢠Coaching/Mentoring ⢠Change Management ⢠Communication Skills ⢠Financial Acumen ⢠Time Management ⢠Ability to travel extensively throughout the Northeast, primarily by car ⢠Ability to sit, talk, hear, stand, walk, and occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds
