📋 Description

• Lead software product management for CVS Health's Security Automation portfolio within Enterprise Information Security • Partner with the Lead Director, Security Automation to run the portfolio through an engineering and product leadership model • Own product strategy, vision, and multi-year roadmap aligned with enterprise security priorities • Lead, hire, develop, and coach the product management team • Conduct continuous product discovery with security practitioners and CVS Health colleagues • Analyze workflows and pain points, size opportunities, test assumptions, and validate proposed automations • Own internal product launch, go-to-market, enablement, documentation, training, onboarding, support, feedback, and lifecycle decisions • Define and measure product and portfolio outcomes, including adoption, active usage, effort reduction, cycle-time reduction, support deflection, and risk reduction • Define requirements and partner with engineering on user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog health, release planning, and delivery tradeoffs • Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions, vendors, market alternatives, proofs of concept, licensing, and total cost of ownership • Communicate roadmap, tradeoffs, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders, senior leadership, and executive sponsors • Own business cases, benefit quantification, ROI and payback analysis, license and vendor cost modeling, and investment narratives • Establish and mature product management practices, including intake, prioritization, discovery, requirements, roadmap communication, documentation, and supporting tools

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in technology roles, including 8+ years in software product management • 4+ years leading product managers, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development • Commercial software or SaaS product management experience strongly preferred, or equivalent product rigor from internal-platform or enterprise-IT backgrounds • Experience owning product strategy and multi-year software product or portfolio roadmaps • Strong product discovery practice, including user research, workflow analysis, opportunity sizing, assumption testing, and evidence-based decision making • Ability to define, instrument, and report outcome measures including adoption, active usage, effort and cycle-time reduction, support deflection, and retention • Track record of driving software product adoption, including quantified examples and responding to stalled adoption • Demonstrated prioritization judgment under constraints and ability to manage stakeholder relationships • Experience defining requirements and partnering with engineering on problem statements, user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog health, release planning, and scope tradeoffs • Technical fluency with APIs, data models, software delivery practices, architecture, integration, and feasibility discussions; coding ability not required • Experience with build-versus-buy analysis, commercial software evaluation, vendor and market assessment, and total-cost-of-ownership reasoning • Ability to influence peers, senior stakeholders, and executives without direct authority • Financial acumen in business cases, benefit quantification, ROI, payback analysis, budgets, and license cost management • Strong written and verbal communication across engineer-to-executive audiences • Experience with agile delivery models and modern product and delivery tooling such as Jira, product analytics, roadmap, and discovery tools • Preferred: developer-facing, platform, or internal-facing software product experience • Preferred: security, risk, compliance, or IT operations product domain experience • Preferred: workflow automation, integration, or data platform product experience • Preferred: AI-enabled or agentic product management experience • Preferred: product-led adoption motions • Preferred: formal dual-leadership partnership with an engineering leader • Preferred: portfolio management across custom-built, commercial, and platform-based products • Preferred: product sunsetting or consolidation experience • Preferred: highly regulated industry experience, ideally healthcare, with familiarity with HIPAA, PCI DSS, HITRUST CSF, SOX, or audit and evidence requirements • Preferred: experience establishing or maturing a product management practice • Preferred: advanced degree or MBA and recognized product management or agile credentials • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business field, such as computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
