📋 Description

• Analyze data to answer business questions using SQL • Build and maintain data visualization dashboards, including Power BI • Build and maintain data pipelines and data models primarily in GCP, Snowflake, and BigQuery • Partner with stakeholders throughout the organization and with analysts and engineers on the team • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis and development • Evaluate where AI/LLM-based approaches, such as natural language querying, automated insight generation, and anomaly detection, can add business value • Help leaders make data-driven decisions through actionable insights and reporting tools

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analysis, or BI development • Experience using AI tools to support analysis, coding, and documentation • Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing complex queries and transformations • Hands-on experience building dashboards, data models, and DAX measures in Power BI • Hands-on experience working with a cloud data warehouse; Snowflake or BigQuery preferred • Experience designing dimensional data models, such as star schema, for analytics use • Experience building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills • Excellent business communication skills and ability to translate stakeholder questions into analysis and explain technical findings to non-technical audiences • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience • Microsoft Power BI certification or equivalent preferred • Experience with Python or another scripting language for data manipulation/automation preferred • Experience with orchestration tools preferred • Prior experience working directly with business stakeholders in a self-serve analytics or embedded analyst capacity preferred • Experience applying AI/LLM-based approaches to analytics and BI preferred
