📋 Description

• Direct in-depth market, customer, and competitor research to inform capture strategy and proposal development • Curate market intelligence on customer and competitor programs, weaknesses, innovations, and performance • Develop actionable insights that inform strategic decisions, customer-centric approaches, and Medicaid growth • Collaborate with the Capture Director, business partners, proposal teams, and consultants on assigned opportunities • Develop research reports, customer and competitor analyses, capture workshop deliverables, and other tools • Design and execute research studies, assess market data, and translate findings into data-driven market strategies • Interpret and adapt strategic concepts to instruct or coach business partners and consultants • Organize and maintain research outputs and source materials in SharePoint • Structure documentation for quick reference during the RFP response phase • Synthesize research findings into reports, presentations, and dashboards for stakeholders from junior roles to senior executives • Track progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables • Monitor project objectives affecting business growth and development goals • Direct proposal team members by providing insights, recommendations, and intelligence for content development

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Medicaid Managed Care • 5+ years of specialized experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or strategic analysis • Demonstrated experience developing competitor analyses and actionable insights • Ability to work independently with limited direction • Demonstrated skill creating PowerPoint presentations that transform detailed research into clear, well-organized executive slides • Strong organizational and analytical skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities under tight deadlines • Proven project management skills and track record of meeting milestones in fast-paced environments • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to translate research into strategic recommendations • Problem-solving mindset and drive to improve processes and outcomes • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Preferred: previous P&L and/or business development experience and project management experience in Medicaid managed care • Preferred: experience leading capture and proposal activities for opportunities of $1B+ • Preferred: capture or executive leadership experience for managed care products for state Medicaid agencies • Preferred: APMP certification(s) • Preferred: state Medicaid agency or federal agency experience with CMS • Preferred: experience using electronic collaboration tools • Preferred: managed care operations experience
