• Manage the full lifecycle and successful delivery of funded training programs and cross-functional projects • Lead program planning, implementation, and project teams • Coordinate internal teams, external partners, contractors, and vendors • Ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, within scope, and in compliance with funding agreements • Develop and maintain program and project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, resource requirements, and implementation strategies • Plan and oversee resource allocation across program locations and activities • Monitor progress, KPIs, participant targets, outcomes, deliverables, expenditures, risks, and issues • Implement corrective actions and manage changes to scope, schedules, and deliverables • Maintain accurate program documentation, records, tracking systems, and audit-ready materials • Support operational processes, tools, workflows, continuous improvement, and program evaluation • Collaborate with Education, Development, Facilities, Marketing, Business Development, Finance, and other internal teams • Manage client and stakeholder relationships and lead communications, meetings, conferences, and stakeholder engagement • Liaise with regulatory authorities and funding stakeholders when required • Prepare and submit progress, performance, status, financial, and funding reports • Coordinate expense tracking, budget reconciliation, and financial forecasting with Finance • Identify and mitigate risks, escalate critical issues, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and funding requirements • Supervise dedicated contract program support staff and provide direct staff management when required • Perform other duties as assigned
• Post-secondary education • 5 years progressive project/program management experience • Minimum 3 years of experience in project or program management • Project management certification (PMP) or equivalent • Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices • Experience planning, coordinating teams, and delivering initiatives on time, within scope, and within budget • Experience managing multiple projects or operational programs simultaneously • Strong financial and budgeting knowledge, including tracking expenditures and managing project budgets • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including communication with senior leadership and government representatives • Strong issue management and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with cross-functional teams • University graduate strongly preferred • Experience with not-for-profit organizations or workforce development programs considered an asset • Background in welding, construction, engineering, or related industries considered an asset • Experience developing strategic plans and launching new programs, operational processes, tools, or frameworks considered an asset • Ability to arrange standard travel documents such as visas and passports • Travel within and outside of Canada may occasionally be necessary
