📋 Description

• Set up all new customers in the Mincron/Mapics/Vertex environment • Maintain customer master information in Mincron/Mapics/Cforia/Vertex, including customer name, address, phone, fax, email address, and sales tax status • Retain and retrieve documentation • Conduct research and due diligence using internal and external resources • Update customer accounts • Communicate with external and internal customers via email, phone, and/or fax • Extract data and support decision-making • Validate data against external references • Implement and maintain Vertex and the sales tax program • Identify and support process improvements • Complete assigned reporting requirements • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager • Work within well-defined instructions and established procedures under close supervision • Report to the Senior Manager, Credit & Collections

🎯 Requirements

• Experience and/or education in accounting or information technology • Strong analytical skills • Analytical thinker with attention to detail • Works well independently • Intermediate Excel experience • Strong customer service skills • Strong phone etiquette and written communication skills • Work experience in manufacturing environment preferred • Knowledge of sales tax resale certificate • Vertex Software knowledge preferable • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Applications • 1–3 years’ experience preferred • High school diploma or GED equivalent • Must be legally authorized for employment in the United States • Must not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
