📋 Description

• Coach, mentor, and train Daikin’s service and solutions sales force in consultative selling techniques • Assist in developing strategic business plans to meet regional sales quotas • Develop and implement sales strategies for energy-efficient HVAC systems and turnkey installations • Identify financially viable business opportunities and execute strategies to win Integrated Service Solutions • Prepare and communicate pipeline reports, sales activity, and business plans • Partner with controls and energy engineering groups to analyze operating costs for potential opportunities • Assist with onsite due diligence or building surveys for qualified service solution opportunities • Coordinate development interfaces with project management and operations teams to assure customer satisfaction • Drive the Daikin brand at regional marketing events, trade shows, and networking events • Collaborate with regional and district managers, sales and application engineers, energy engineers, and project managers • Maintain partnerships with internal and external business partners to achieve sales objectives • Create customer value propositions including energy-saving calculations, financial paybacks, financing options, and maintenance savings • Participate in risk mitigation and pre-proposal project reviews • Promote Daikin Applied as a green and environmentally responsible manufacturer

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (engineering preferred) or equivalent work experience • 6–8 years of experience in commercial HVAC, energy, or related field • Strong technical knowledge of procurement methods and contracting options • Experience providing customers with customized solutions to assist in closing sales • Experience with Tridium Niagara-based or similar Open Protocol Systems and Building Automation System Architecture preferred • Facility Management experience preferred • Ability to travel up to 75% • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
