📋 Description

• Review and respond to security events • Investigate security events to determine root cause with internal organizations and subsidiary companies as a Tier 2 analyst • Serve as the escalation point for Tier 1 analysts • Ensure timely response to security detections and reports • Maintain high-quality monitoring, investigation, and incident-handling processes • Build relationships with subsidiary companies and represent their interests to the corporate security team • Respond to and investigate phishing, malware detections, brand monitoring, and other security events • Mentor junior analysts and support onboarding of new team members • Document existing security escalation and investigation processes and write new procedures as required • Support incident response containment and eradication activities • Lead remediation activities after containment • Develop relationships with Security and IT teams across a multinational corporation

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a security operations center or similar, responding to security alerts and phishing reports • Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, WAF, and SOAR • Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices • Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Previous experience in large global complex environments • Prior experience working with a Security Operations Center or Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) to implement and enhance threat detection and response capability
