📋 Description

• Work with the Field Application Specialist and Field Project Manager to provide standard and custom automated solutions • Help customers achieve research goals across a wide range of applications • Submit and implement an annual detailed sales plan identifying objectives, opportunities, major customers, and regional shows • Participate in customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars and shows, product demonstrations, customer seminars, and channel management • Coordinate distributor training activities • Submit monthly forecasts and maintain timely, accurate funnel details • Assist in maintaining a customer mailing list for the assigned territory • Collect and report competitive activity in the assigned territory in Salesforce CRM • Report to the Automation Regional Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field • 2+ years’ experience in Life Sciences and/or Academic/Government sales or other Technical/Capital equipment sales • Strong communication and presentation skills • Understanding of tactical sales skills including prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers • Demonstrated track record of success, ideally in Life Science, Government, Academic sales, or other Technical/Capital equipment sales • Excellent time and territory management habits • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player • Experience with distribution channels preferred • Experience with personal computer, e-mail, Microsoft Office programs, and CRM/SFDC preferred • Ability to travel 50%, including overnight travel within the territory or other locations • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record • Ability to perform moderate physical activity, including lifting/carrying materials
