• Evaluate and review disability claims from home • Conduct Disability Peer Reviews and provide advisory-only opinions • Select services and case types, determine case volume, and work according to scheduled availability • Complete reviews within the required turnaround time • Make clinical determinations and prepare reports
• Board Certification in Neuro-Ophthalmology • Current, unrestricted medical license • 5+ years of clinical practice experience • Experience in conducting Disability Peer Reviews preferred
• Independent consultant role allows for schedule flexibility and predictable work hours; choose services and case types, dictate volume, and conduct work based on scheduled availability • Advisory-only opinions with no doctor/patient relationship and no treatment provided • Typical turnaround time of 3–5 business days depending on review level • Streamlined case flow and user-friendly work portal • Administrative support including communication, medical-record organization, case preparation, and quality/timely-delivery support • Initial training and an ongoing point of contact for questions about completing reviews
