📋 Description

• Keep automation running and identify failures before they affect users • Build error reporting for missing or failed reports • Diagnose silent failures in PSA and other systems • Build new automation for recurring manual work • Support the client portal and later the compliance and training product • Maintain internal tools used daily by staff • Document systems and workflows • Manage credential hygiene • Track AI spending • Maintain records of where client data goes • Progress through staged ownership while learning and documenting during the first three months

🎯 Requirements

• Some MSP or IT service experience • Understanding of tickets, time entry, RMM and PSA data, and MSP business operations • Strong troubleshooting instinct • Ability to read error messages properly, change one thing at a time, and validate against reality • Evidence of self-teaching, such as a PowerShell script, advanced spreadsheet, Zapier flow, or home lab • Reliability with recurring deadline-driven work • Willingness to receive and apply frequent correction during the first six months • Clear writing and documentation ability • Ability to work remotely without supervision • Ability to communicate early when blocked • Trustworthiness with administrative access across client environments • Must be US-based • Ability to work 10:00am–7:00pm EST or 8:00am–5:00pm MST • Familiarity or ability to develop skills in API work, workflow automation, and TypeScript

🏖️ Benefits

• $65,000 to $80,000 base salary • Standard benefits package • No on-call rotation during the ramp • If an on-call rotation is added later, it will be paid and discussed beforehand • Six months of protected ramp • Direct training from the owner and Director of IT • Formal performance reviews at month three and month six, then annually • Portable skills development in API work, workflow automation, TypeScript, and platform operations
