📋 Description

• Design and build an executive-ready application on Databricks Apps • Translate stakeholder needs into a working product • Build BI-style visualizations and reporting components for an executive audience • Contribute product thinking to a prioritized use case backlog • Help scope future implementation phases • Participate in client workshops and weekly status reviews • Communicate technical progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Apply AI/ML capabilities where relevant to enhance the application

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, with some exposure to data engineering or data products • Experience in full-stack development including APIs, CI/CD, and front-end tools such as React, NextJS or Typescript • Experience building internal tools, dashboards, or applications on top of data platforms • Databricks Apps experience is a strong plus • Experience with low-code/no-code app frameworks such as Retool, Streamlit, or Power Apps is valuable • Comfort working with BI tools; Power BI preferred • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and applying them in applied, product-oriented contexts • Strong communication skills for a client-facing consulting role • Applicants must be based in Canada • Experience in energy, mining, or other industrial/resource sectors is a bonus
