📋 Description

• Define and lead the engineering function for internally-facing platforms powering lead-to-cash flow, billing, revenue enablement, and shared platform services • Build, grow, and lead software engineers, engineering managers, and technical leads; own hiring, growth, performance, and technical standards • Set development practices, technology and architecture choices, quality and testing standards, repository management, and technical debt strategy • Own shared platform services such as enterprise authentication as internal products • Ensure delivery is fit for purpose, production-ready, and avoids future rework • Partner with product, architecture, security, and compliance • Commit engineers into cross-functional pods delivering Order-to-Cash and Lead-to-Contract outcomes • Advise teams and pods on architecture, trade-offs, and design • Champion software solutions, processes, and standards that improve quality

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience • Several years in leadership, ideally including leading through other managers • Experience building custom applications and managing SaaS solutions • Production software engineering background; ability to read and reason about code and system design • Experience defining and executing systems-level architectural and technology vision • Working fluency in order management, billing, revenue, or related commercial and financial-systems domains • Experience owning internally-facing platforms and/or shared services consumed by other engineering teams • Comfort leading in a matrixed, pod-based model • Experience in healthcare, financial services, or other highly regulated fields • Ability to make hard decisions and communicate trade-offs quickly • Strong organization and reliability; ability to bring clarity and structure to complexity • Ability to plan and communicate project status and trade-offs with executives • Experience with revenue-enabling or lead-to-cash systems, auth, or identity is a bonus
