📋 Description

• Conduct commissioning and retro-commissioning activities • Perform engineering feasibility analysis and electrical studies • Gather field arc flash data and assist with field data collection • Perform field inspections of government, commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and institutional properties • Collect information for existing condition assessments, electrical one-line documentation, arc flash studies, and critical power upgrade recommendations • Perform electrical systems testing and existing electrical system data collection • Assist with commissioning activities, construction verification, and field functional testing • Assist with limited mechanical design field verification as project capacity requires • Complete site surveys, circuit tracing, facility verification, and critical power infrastructure assessments • Produce work products and reports using software programs

🎯 Requirements

• Experience performing electrical systems testing and existing electrical system data collection • Experience with site survey and analysis • Experience commissioning new construction buildings • Experience with critical power and infrastructure testing and assessment • Experience with arc flash analysis and associated data collection • Experience with facility circuit tracing and verification • Understanding of varied electrical distribution systems • Ability to read and understand electrical system documentation, one-line drawings, and electrical schematics • Experience with medium-voltage and low-voltage power distribution • Familiarity with NFPA, NEC, NETA, and IECC standards • Working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and IT/communications • Excellent report writing, computer, and internet skills • Excellent communication and management skills • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Ability to complete assignments on time and within budget • Ability to travel on short notice (one week or less) • Ability to utilize varied software programs to monitor, update, and produce work products • High School Degree • Electrical Safety Course • Work status eligibility and successful federal government background check required for job offers
