📋 Description

• Lead strategic sourcing and procurement for GPUs, accelerated compute platforms, servers, networking, storage, infrastructure software, colocation, power, IP transit, dark fiber, maintenance, warranties, lifecycle support, and other strategic infrastructure • Develop and execute sourcing strategies optimizing total cost of ownership, commercial terms, supply availability, performance, and strategic value • Lead negotiations for capital purchases, framework agreements, volume commitments, and strategic supplier arrangements • Create competitive tension across vendors and assess market economics • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with OEMs, component manufacturers, colocation providers, and channel partners • Optimize pricing, allocations, product availability, lead times, financing, warranties, support, roadmap visibility, technology access, capacity commitments, escalation paths, and partnerships • Partner with Finance, Engineering, and Operations to evaluate lifecycle cost, density, power consumption, utilization, support costs, deployment timelines, and revenue-generating capability • Develop commercial models for infrastructure investments and provide leadership with recommendations and alternatives • Improve infrastructure cost per unit of compute and return on invested capital • Translate infrastructure growth forecasts into procurement and capacity pipelines • Anticipate supply constraints and develop multi-sourcing strategies • Maintain visibility into manufacturing cycles, component lead times, product roadmaps, and end-of-life schedules • Structure commercial contracts with Legal and Finance, focusing on SLAs, liability, price protection, and supply guarantees • Establish procurement workflows, approval thresholds, and supplier performance metrics • Ensure supplier alignment with the Supplier Code of Conduct, security standards, and background verification requirements • Work closely with executive leadership, engineering, finance, and operations

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or commercial leadership experience focused on data center hardware, hyperscale cloud, or enterprise IT infrastructure • Proven track record negotiating complex, multi-million-dollar hardware, colocation, and software contracts • Established executive network across the data center, server OEM, networking, and component supplier ecosystems • Deep knowledge of GPU/accelerated computing architectures, high-performance networking, and data center economics • Strong financial modeling capabilities, including TCO analysis and capital investment evaluation • Excellent contract negotiation and executive presentation skills • Executive presence to represent Denvr alongside senior leadership at major global technology companies • Deep understanding of technology go-to-market models and OEM margin structures • Technical fluency bridging engineering specifications with C-suite commercial negotiations • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with changing hardware architectures, lead times, and capacity demands
