📋 Description

• Lead the development of automated material handling concept solutions • Detail material handling concepts into functional layouts • Apply equipment types that maximize equipment utility and match desired output • Develop automation alternatives for Tier 1 systems and provide customer pros and cons to support final recommendations • Determine throughput capabilities and right-size equipment applications • Support development of equipment lists and equipment pricing • Compare layout designs to determine the best overall approach • Deliver findings to intercompany groups and customers • Provide technical sales assistance to convert concept solutions into integration projects • Work with intercompany groups to support proposal development • Work with intercompany groups to further develop proposals into execution • Apply material handling automated systems and layout expertise to customers’ processing goals • Develop concept solutions based on historical business data analytics and future-state material flow diagrams • Participate in customer meetings as a trusted advocate of the solution

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of Material Handling system design experience • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred) • Expertise in AutoDesk/AutoCAD drafting software • Experience with material handling equipment OEMs software drawing packages • Extensive knowledge of a wide range of automated material handling equipment • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite • Ability to work under pressure and with urgency • Some experience working with system simulation • Extensive experience leading system pricing estimation • Experience at all phases of the project lifecycle from concepting through implementation • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to deliver and defend the solution to the Customer, leading to an implementation opportunity • Extensive experience supporting design/sales presentations • Creative problem-solving ability • Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude
