📋 Description

• Serve and maintain business relationships with members and clients for all claims • Handle high-complexity property insurance claims and medium-complexity accident benefit and bodily injury claims • Investigate and approve claims • Develop solutions, negotiate claims settlements and enter into agreements with members, clients, third parties and others • Advise and assist clients and represent Desjardins • Conduct investigations and inspections to assess damage, estimate costs and market value, and produce and review reports and other documents to determine settlement amounts • Analyze medical, financial and job information and determine eligibility for benefits based on statutory criteria • Settle claims in accordance with organizational standards, policies, quality commitments and contract terms • Meet deadlines to ensure client satisfaction and avoid penalties • Negotiate with all parties involved to ensure smooth claims processing

🎯 Requirements

• College diploma in a related field • A minimum of four years of relevant experience • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered • Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers • Advance proficiency of french • Must have a valid driver's license • Available to travel within the Gatineau area • Mandatory on-call availability, estimated at one to two weeks per year • Action oriented • Customer Focus • Decision quality • Differences • Interpersonal Savvy • Nimble learning
