📋 Description

• You are responsible for building Kubernetes and GitOps solutions in our client projects • You support Kubernetes projects from design and architecture through implementation and porting of applications to the platform, to transitioning the solution into operations. • You provide consulting on solution architecture, platform and tool selection based on your expertise • You have a very strong technical understanding and bring your practical experience from the Kubernetes Platform Engineering domain into our software projects. • You work in interdisciplinary teams and actively contribute your ideas to design, consulting and implementation of concepts • You take a proactive approach, utilize creative freedom and support your colleagues

🎯 Requirements

• A completed university degree in computer science or a related field • At least three years of experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer • Several years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, GitOps and related tools • Your passion is technology and innovation; you embrace the DevOps philosophy and are familiar with its models, principles and best practices • High degree of initiative and strong team skills • Openness to new topics, technologies and solutions • Analytical skills • Very good knowledge of Linux, Docker and Kubernetes • Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g. Kustomize, Helm) • Knowledge of CI/CD and GitOps (e.g. Tekton, Argo CD, Flux CD, Fleet) • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Jaeger) • Solid skills in Bash and Python • Practical experience with Red Hat OpenShift, SUSE Rancher or VMware Tanzu is an advantage • Experience with Go and writing Kubernetes operators • Good knowledge of K8s networking (e.g. Calico, Cilium) and Ceph storage is a plus • Ideally service mesh know-how (e.g. Istio, Linkerd)
