📋 Description

• Lead a geographically distributed team of engineers across Europe and North America • Drive the development and operation of Docker’s Container-as-a-Service platforms • Build and operate highly scalable, reliable, and performant cloud services • Work with product and engineering leadership to translate roadmap and priorities into work for your team • Take active ownership of your team members’ development, growth, and performance • Own the team’s execution and agile ceremonies • Collaborate with AI/ML specialists to explore opportunities for intelligent automation and optimization

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience managing cloud engineering teams building and operating large-scale SaaS or platform services • Strong understanding of container orchestration and developer infrastructure • Deep familiarity with cloud architecture, scalability, reliability, and observability best practices • Experience at a hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) is a strong plus • Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and container lifecycle management • Experience leading agile, remote engineering teams • High degree of independence and ownership • Obsession with enabling engineers to do great work and delivering value to customers • Perform architecture and code reviews • Experience or strong interest in AI/ML systems or data-driven automation preferred
