• DoiT is a global technology company that helps cloud-driven organizations leverage the cloud to drive business growth and innovation. • Account Manager role on the Sales team in Japan; based remotely in Japan, ideally in Tokyo. • Develop a deep understanding of DoiT’s business, cloud management platform, support and services and how they help clients. • Maintain knowledge, context and ownership of customer accounts and communicate with vendor teams to show value and opportunities for revenue growth. • Manage customer-related support escalations to resolution, ensuring high customer satisfaction. • Negotiate and close long-term commitments with key stakeholders, balancing customer, vendor and company interests. • Identify new workload opportunities within customers' Cloud Environments / SaaS solutions. • Establish a regular cadence with your portfolio of customers, balancing large strategic and fast-growing emerging clients. • Aggregate customer feedback to ensure products and solutions align with customer needs. • Provide customer feedback to engineering teams to help prioritize development deliverables. • Deliver regular quarterly reviews, track project timelines and projected cloud spending. • Identify Cost Optimization opportunities within the customer cloud environment. • Collaborate with Cloud Vendor Sales Representatives on mutual customers.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills in Japanese & English. • 2+ years of experience in an Account Management/Customer Success/Customer Engineering role. • 3+ years of experience at a technology company • Strong technical skills that enable you to engage productively with technical teams, and the ability to build influential relationships. • Excellent operational/administration skills, analytical, detail-oriented and able to “zoom” in/out from the big picture to the minutiae. • A desire to grow within the organization and continuously broaden your skill sets. • A great sense of humour and enjoys having fun at work. • Experience with AWS, GCP, or other major public clouds • Cloud Certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner or Google Cloud Digital Leader certifications)
