📋 Description

• Own the Sift and Plaid Signal risk platforms end-to-end, including rules, models, thresholds, score tuning, and feedback loops • Design and implement identity and fraud controls while balancing good-user friction • Own loss, returns, and fraud metrics and report progress • Lead cross-functional risk initiatives with ACH Operations and drive measurable outcomes • Partner directly with Product Managers and Engineering to ship risk controls and communicate data-driven rationale • Perform hands-on analytical work and set direction for the analyst team • Manage an analyst and scale the team as the function matures

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in payments risk / fraud, with demonstrated ownership of loss and fraud outcomes and supporting metrics • Strong data analysis skills • Ability to write Python and SQL • Comfortable working directly against a data warehouse • Strong individual contributor who can lead a small team • Prior experience leading a payments risk or fraud team at a fintech or payments company strongly preferred • Genuine curiosity and a bias for getting into the weeds • Experience using LLMs and modern tooling to accelerate investigation, analysis, or controls • Experience at a fintech operating an ACH product is a bonus
