📋 Description

• Run vulnerability and compliance scans for all types of systems in USDA • Update Nessus scanners and Tenable Security Centers to the latest released versions • Troubleshoot scanning issues involving networks, endpoints, or scanners • Investigate potential false-positive vulnerabilities • Develop and maintain provisioning scripts • Create and administer job queries and custom reports • Troubleshoot failed deployments and agent health issues • Create back-end processes and maintenance to keep systems healthy, including core components, settings, software delivery, agent behavior and health, reporting, and software compliance • Monitor application health and troubleshoot errors with vendor support • Perform general system administration and troubleshooting • Conduct independent security control assessments • Evaluate new technologies and lead cross-organizational teams to analyze, select, implement, and integrate technologies with existing IT services • Anticipate future IT service needs and investigate practical solutions • Develop enterprise-level strategies to mitigate end-user issues • Document standard operating procedures and best practices, and automate solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years of relevant experience • U.S. Citizenship required • Public Trust clearance required • Experience managing multi-platform Client Security Tools (Tenable.SC, Tenable.VM, Nessus, Nessus Agent, Tenable.OT, Invicti Web App Scanning) • Experience designing and maintaining vulnerability scanning technologies in an enterprise environment • Experience with basic Linux commands and some Windows administration • Experience with Splunk SIEM queries • Experience producing repeatable, reliable, scalable systems • Some experience with PowerShell scripting and process automation • Working knowledge of DHCP, DNS, IIS, MS-SQL, and NPS • Must be comfortable working with mission-critical and sensitive systems • Ability to communicate and present ideas to customers and management
