📋 Description

• Investigate vehicles, equipment, and accident sites to document evidence and determine the scope of damage • Investigate and assess damages due to failures and determine the origin of failure for insurers and litigation support • Research, evaluate, analyze, and test the causation of accidents and failures • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to produce detailed reports outlining accident causes • Serve as an expert witness in court and/or depositions • Document and maintain billable hours on a time and expense basis for client projects • Collaborate with EFI's national team of forensic experts and assist on projects • Travel as required

🎯 Requirements

• Vehicle Accident Reconstruction experience is required • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required • Six (6) years of experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required • ACTAR certification preferred • Excellent oral and written communication • PC literacy, including Microsoft Office products • Analytical and interpretive skills • Strong organizational skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently or in a team environment • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time • Ability to kneel, squat, bend, climb, crawl, stoop, kneel, reach/work overhead • Ability to work outdoors in hot and/or cold weather conditions • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds • Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds • Ability to drive up to 4 hours per day
