📋 Description

• Directly oversee a team of 3–4 people, including interviewing and hiring replacements • Assess and develop employees through continuous training and mentoring • Oversee direct reports, team management, and client caseload management • Delegate tasks effectively and model leadership behaviors • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews with the Director of Medicaid Teams • Address disciplinary issues when necessary • Issue Performance Improvement Plans and ensure follow-up and evaluation • Evaluate team bandwidth and delegate tasks with the Sr Manager Medicaid Teams • Research federal and state Medicaid LTC regulations and eligibility guidelines • Evaluate cases and develop customized eligibility planning strategies for clients • Advise on case issues so Medicaid Specialists process applications accurately and within required timelines • Resolve escalated issues arising from the Medicaid application process • Hold regular team and individual meetings to communicate process and policy changes • Respond to client questions or concerns when needed • Follow company data security policies to secure client information • Validate biweekly time cards in Rippling • Use company productivity tools, including CRM databases, Google Docs, Adobe PDF Editor, and online mail tools • Track and report data-driven progress toward goals • Review monthly productivity reports with the Sr Manager Medicaid Teams • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • English fluency and professional written and verbal communication skills • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role with people management experience • Experience with managing and training direct reports • Working knowledge of long term Medicaid, including processing applications and a thorough understanding of Medicaid LTC eligibility rules • Ability to think strategically and contribute to process and system improvements • Demonstrated ability to understand financial assets, such as IRA’s, life insurance policies, annuities, trusts, etc. • Ability to analyze financial data using spreadsheet calculations; high comfort level with math • Experience with complex problem solving and process improvement techniques • Ability to collaborate within a team environment; self aware and able to accept constructive feedback from team members • Strong planning and organizational skills • Responsible self-starter who keeps commitments to deadlines • History of working successfully with individuals and groups representing a range of cultural backgrounds, orientations, and life experiences • Experience with file and document management • Proficient in Google Suite of products, including Google Docs and, particularly, Google Sheets • Proficient using PDF editing software, such as Adobe Acrobat • Professional background in the Medicaid long term care industry (preferred) • Hands-on case management experience (preferred) • Experience working in a fully remote environment, using cloud-based productivity tools (preferred) • Experience using a CRM or similar project management database (preferred) • Understanding of how to generate spreadsheet reports from a database or CRM (preferred) • Must reside in one of the company's registered states • Employment eligibility is limited to U.S. citizens in many, but not all, states
