📋 Description

• Provide scientific and clinical information to scientific and clinical experts based on their patient-care, research, and educational needs • Synthesize the latest research on products, disease states, and standards of care • Serve as a trusted resource for unbiased, accurate, and current medical and scientific information • Support healthcare professionals in sharing evidence and addressing clinical care gaps • Connect scientific and clinical experts with Lilly resources and internal business partners • Facilitate collaborative research opportunities • Partner with clinical development on studies and investigators, including site identification, selection, and recruitment • Analyze customer data and plan and prioritize face-to-face and virtual engagements • Implement strategic territory plans and use territory analytics for customer identification and routing prioritization • Coordinate compliantly with Lilly field roles sharing customers • Synthesize and communicate actionable customer and clinical insights to Lilly Medical and cross-functional teams • Build internal networks and collaborate with field-based and cross-functional colleagues • Execute the role compliantly in accordance with requirements, procedures, and laws

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD in a medically related field) required • Two years of relevant clinical or therapeutic-area experience desired for PharmD, MD, or PhD candidates • Master's or bachelor's-level degree in health sciences (e.g., BSN, RPh, PA, NP) considered with 5+ years of clinical, research, or industry experience in a relevant therapeutic area • Valid US driver's license and acceptable driving record required • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Lilly will not sponsor work authorization or visas • Learning agility to comprehend and communicate complex scientific content clearly and concisely • Demonstrated strategic and critical thinking skills to analyze and evaluate information • Advanced presentation and computer skills, with expertise in literature identification • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple priorities and projects • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, including emotional intelligence and professional relationship building and networking • Resiliency in managing complex challenges • Intellectual curiosity about the relevant science/medicine field • Ability to use field-based tools and adapt to advancing technology • Applicants should live within the Upper Midwest geography and near a transport hub • Ability to travel up to 80%, including weekend commitments • Familiarity with health systems, academic communities, medical research, and medical education processes highly preferred • Knowledge and experience with digital platforms for virtual HCP engagement highly valued • Gastrointestinal and/or thoracic oncology therapeutic-area experience strongly preferred
