📋 Description

• Participate in development, conduct, and reporting of global clinical trials for new compounds, including women’s health compounds • Implement global clinical trials and report adverse events according to corporate patient safety requirements • Review protocols, study reports, publications, data dissemination, labels, grant submissions, and contracts • Interact with regulatory and governmental agencies • Assess licensing opportunities and conduct outreach to the external clinical customer community • Work with research scientists to identify lead compounds and clinical candidates and plan pre-clinical studies • Contribute to clinical development strategies and plans, including Phase III planning • Design and oversee Phase Ib and IIa/IIb clinical studies and write clinical trial protocols • Collaborate with clinical research staff, investigators, statisticians, pharmacologists, and other quantitative scientists • Ensure study initiation and conduct comply with Good Clinical Practices and local laws • Monitor patient safety and track and follow up on adverse events • Participate in clinical data analysis, scientific dissemination, final reports, publications, symposia, advisory boards, and congress support • Support regulatory reports, IND and Investigator Brochure medical sections, FDA advisory committee hearings, labeling modifications, and risk management planning • Provide medical expertise and business/customer support to global business units • Establish relationships with external experts, thought leaders, professional societies, and the medical community • Participate in patent development and define the Patient Journey and Moments of Truth • Maintain expertise in relevant medical literature, clinical practice, pre-clinical and clinical data • Set professional development goals, coach colleagues, participate in recruitment and retention efforts, and lead matrixed cross-functional teams

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in a relevant field, such as Endocrinology, Reproduction, Internal Medicine, Developmental Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, Physiology, Pharmacology, or Neuroscience • 5+ years clinical development experience • Clinical research or pharmaceutical medicine experience preferred • Knowledge of drug development process preferred • Fluent in English, both written and verbal • Interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills • Ability to influence others cross-functionally and within the function • Excellent teamwork skills • Willingness to engage in domestic and international travel as appropriate to support the team
