📋 Description

• Design and build scalable full-stack applications across front-end, back-end, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps • Develop scalable back-end services and APIs primarily in Python, contributing to front-end interfaces as needed • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform • Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and drive root-cause fixes • Design, write, validate, and modify code and scripts supporting internal and external systems • Partner with the Database Administrator on SQL Server tables, data integrity, stored procedures, SSRS, and SSIS packages • Provide operational backup for routine data maintenance • Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to plan and deliver features • Review code to maintain quality and share knowledge • Improve deployment reliability, observability, and system performance • Contribute to architecture decisions and technical roadmap planning • Lead development of programs, web applications, and web service/API integrations • Produce logical diagrams outlining current and future state • Lead LifePRO application support, including evaluation, testing, and deployment of releases and new functionality • Monitor resource use across programs, applications, web services, and systems • Use AI-powered coding assistants to accelerate development and automate engineering workflows • Develop and execute program- and system-level testing plans • Diagnose and correct logic and coding errors • Review production data and reports for scheduled jobs, data quality, and integrity • Maintain application, program, disaster recovery, and data center documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in computer science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience • Eight years of experience in programming, information technology, or related experience • Experience or training in T-SQL, C#, and .NET • Experience working in an AWS Cloud Environment • Strong full-stack application and cloud-native solution development skills • Experience with front-end and back-end development technologies • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and languages such as Python, .NET, Java, or Node.js • Experience building APIs and authentication solutions including OAuth2, JWT, and SSO • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases • Experience with Git and collaborative development practices • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies • Familiarity with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud • Knowledge of insurance operations, business systems, and software design principles • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills
