• Conduct in-depth advice conversations assessing participants’ financial health, retirement readiness, investment management, household financial planning, and financial wellness • Use proprietary financial planning software to deliver investment reviews and objective recommendations tailored to participant goals and risk tolerance • Customize and implement actionable financial plans using analytical tools • Follow up to promote long-term financial behavior change • Lead one-on-one consultations and group education sessions virtually and in person • Cover retirement planning, investing fundamentals, and financial wellness best practices • Document participant interactions, advice, and recommendations in Salesforce • Ensure compliance and consistent follow-up strategies • Meet or exceed service level agreements, client expectations, and annual performance goals • Build strategic partnerships with internal teams and external HR and benefits coordinators • Refer participants to Empower Personal Wealth when appropriate • Support consultations across an assigned geographic and/or client-based territory
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred • 7+ years of relevant financial services experience • FINRA Series 6, 63 and 65 registrations required • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills • Ability to work independently and manage a personal book of business • Deep understanding of defined contribution plans, financial planning principles, and investment management topics • Ability to travel to client sites as necessary, up to 50% • FINRA Fingerprinting required upon hire • Experience in sales and/or wealth management preferred • Proficiency with investment planning tools and financial wellness platforms preferred • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable, including CPT/OPT • Must reside within the assigned Texas territory • Reliable high-speed internet with a wired fiber, cable, or DSL connection • A suitable home workspace with limited disruption
