ENT is a socio‑economic initiative made up of two organizations (a consultancy and a foundation) that deliver multidisciplinary professional services focused on environmental policy, research and innovation. For more than 20 years they have worked on the design, analysis and management of environmental policies and instruments — especially waste management, environmental taxation, producer responsibility and deposit-return systems — as well as climate change, marine environment and ecology. ENT participates in R+D+i projects, publishes research, offers training and advisory services, and holds ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications.

📋 Description

• Seeking a scientist with depth and breadth of knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, advanced statistical modeling and applied mathematics. • Lead state-of-the-art research and development by incorporating and advancing current SOTA models/approaches. • Ability to think outside the box, combine multiple different techniques to solve problems, invent frameworks and theoretical grounding. • Develop novel AI workflow and models for solving Ent’s problems.

🎯 Requirements

• PhD, postdoc experience or equivalent • Worked on frontier, complex academic science projects with proven results (publications, code, talks etc.) • Hands-on experience with AI/ML that required to develop new approach or algorithm, not just re-use of the standard of-the-shelf models. • Proven record to deliver results in industry settings: actual working solutions, patents, experience in start-ups.
