• Lead delivery of complex mechanical engineering projects within refining, chemical, terminal, and power generation facilities • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients and project teams • Oversee mechanical engineering from concept development through detailed design and project execution • Provide technical leadership on facility upgrades, maintenance projects, BOP systems, piping systems, and critical infrastructure initiatives • Lead mechanical engineering activities across multiple concurrent projects • Collaborate with Project Managers, Directors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams • Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges • Provide authoritative design guidance and perform quality reviews • Support project execution through all development phases • Mentor junior engineers and strengthen organizational technical capabilities • Promote engineering excellence through coaching and collaboration • Maintain and expand client relationships by delivering high-quality technical solutions and responsive support • Travel occasionally to client sites and project locations for project execution, field investigations, design reviews, and client meetings • Travel expected at 10–20%
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution • 10 years of engineering experience • At least 5 years supporting refining, chemical, terminal, or power generation facilities • Experience with balance of plant (BOP), facility upgrades, and/or maintenance projects involving piping systems • Demonstrated expertise in mechanical design and full-cycle project execution • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with clients, project teams, and stakeholders • Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred • Experience with tank and pressure vessel analysis and design preferred • Experience with fired equipment, including boilers and heaters, preferred • Experience performing pipe stress analysis using Caesar II preferred • Experience conducting hydraulic analyses for process and utility systems preferred • Experience leading quality reviews and mentoring junior engineering staff preferred • Consulting engineering and/or client-facing project experience preferred
