📋 Description

• Prepare increasingly complex compliance tests and year-end packages • Review plan eligibility requirements and determine eligible participants • Review plan allocation conditions and calculate requested contributions and forfeiture allocations • Perform ADP/ACP nondiscrimination, 415 annual additions, 416 Top Heavy, and 410(b) coverage tests • Conduct self and peer reviews • Prepare, review, and publish Forms 5500, 5330, 8955-SSA, and other regulatory forms • Reconcile and prepare Form 5500 and applicable schedules for large-filer plans • Assist Plan Consultants with auditor questions • Maintain working knowledge of moderate-complexity plans and develop knowledge of more complex plans • Research and resolve testing and Form 5500 issues and questions • Collaborate with other departments as needed • Assist and mentor team members with complex issues and questions • Work with Managers to develop processes and implement best practices • Prepare asset reconciliations and research differences • Prepare outside-asset and balance-forward earnings allocations and participant validations • Prepare plan documents, including Restatements, Amendments, SPDs, SMMs, and Notices • Assist with QDRO allocations and corrective earnings calculations • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree and 5+ years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • ASPPA Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designation required • Ability to read and interpret retirement adoption agreements, program manuals, government instructions, and guidance • Ability to write reports and emails/correspondence • Ability to work effectively with employees across the company • Advanced math skills, including fractions, percentages, and ratios • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word • Ability to work independently and balance multiple tasks • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers • Ability to remain stationary 75% of the time or greater • Ability to move objects up to 10 lbs
