đź“‹ Description

• Work with engineering team to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solutions • Deploy and debug cloud stacks; coordinate with teams on cloud initiatives and ensure cloud infrastructure security • Provide implementation and administrative (patching/maintenance/configuration) support to AWS services and maintain the Cloud AWS environment • Manage cloud-based infrastructure (IaC) and services using automation techniques to assure smooth application integration • Implement and administer CICD pipeline for all systems, software, services, and infrastructure using quality and security gates • Troubleshoot identity management and authentication issues and provide resolution • Ensure smooth operation through patching, preventative maintenance, monitoring, alerting, and real-time remediation • Serve as engineer of complex technology implementations in a product-centric environment • Conduct research, design, and create prototypes of new solutions to facilitate application growth • Identify tooling weaknesses and liaise with development, operations, and stakeholders to drive architectural changes • Support daily operational incidents, change, and problem management cases as part of an agile project team • Provide on-call support; develop production support processes, documentation, and operations plans including monitoring/alerting solutions • Provide user access/security/release/schedules management • Follow established Industry/Agency standards for Cloud configurations, Architecture and Security

🎯 Requirements

• Two (2) years of professional experience in a related role • Must have related experience for government, as a contractor or government employee • Direct experience with the Department of State is a plus • Must be a United States citizen • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and currently reside in the United States • Contingent on award and successful MRPT clearance • Experience in Administrating and Securing Cloud environments, such as AWS • Experience using Gitlab and CI/CD platforms to deliver safe releases at a rapid rate • Knowledge of Cloud components such as DevOps scripts, S3 access management, and application configuration • Knowledge of Cloud tools and platforms such as Redis, K8s, Terraform, and Docker • Excellent investigative skills to find root cause for AWS Cloud problems and unique problems beyond typical DevOps arena • Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence • Strong documentation and problem-solving skills • Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills • Ability to identify and create detailed requirements • Comfortable with bridging the gap between legacy development or operations teams and working toward a shared culture and vision
