📋 Description

• Lead the team of Security Engineers, assisting with decision-making and solution analysis • Enable Security Engineers to deliver security consulting to the wider business • Provide escalated support and guidance to Product & Technology teams • Advise on platform construction, application behavior, user security, and Internet connectivity • Contribute to application architecture and steer system implementation • Apply defence in depth, threat modelling, zero trust, security by design, standards, and frameworks across a multi-cloud environment • Model threats using the STRIDE model and ensure appropriate protections and controls • Mitigate vulnerabilities across systems • Help developers produce secure code • Evaluate next-generation security technologies • Respond to security and compliance issues identified through analysis or automated tools • Collaborate across teams and share security expertise across the organisation • Work closely with technology teams on detailed security matters

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years’ experience in securing software or infrastructure in cloud platforms (e.g. Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP) • Experience securing systems in line with Well Architected Frameworks, e.g. Azure Well Architected Framework • Network experience in designing and building, managing, or troubleshooting, with confidence in networking knowledge • Experience applying security to networks, hosts, web applications, and cloud native deployments • Experience with one or more toolsets including asset management, vulnerability management, firewalls, SIEM, PAM, IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR, DLP, SWG, WAF, CSPM, and CNAPP • Solid understanding and ideally experience in the design, implementation, or running of SAST / DAST / IAST / RASP • Knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment best practices and securing pipelines • Understanding of current attack tactics, techniques and procedures, MITRE ATT&CK framework, and associated MITRE security research • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code and Azure native technologies is desirable • Experience with threat modelling, NIST, and CIS frameworks is desirable • Knowledge of application security standards such as OWASP Top 10 and SANS / CWE 25 is desirable • Full authorization to work in Canada; ESO does not provide visa sponsorship • Successful background check required for offers
