📋 Description

• Design clinical databases for new studies based on requirement specifications in various EDC systems • Design Case Report Forms, edit checks, study roles, laboratory, coder, and RTSM components • Perform post go-live database modifications and provide impact assessments • Perform unit testing, assist UAT activities, and address UAT findings • Set up and configure development environments for new studies • Assist with Database Integration Specifications, provide Integration Technical Detail, program integrations, and assist integration testing • Support Data Managers in investigating and addressing database design issues • Review study design specifications for adherence to EDC platform and Everest standards • Review protocols and reference materials and contribute to database design project timelines • Maintain database design timelines and promote good project management practices • Assist Clinical Data Management in planning, directing, and managing database design and maintenance • Follow regulatory requirements, industry trends, benchmarking, and best practices in data management and database design • Participate in EDC vendor technical learning and exchange meetings and other training • Contribute to database design standard libraries for all EDC systems • Provide input to database design-related data management procedural documents • Cooperate with and assist Quality Assurance with audits on assigned databases • Validate and disseminate real-time study monitoring reports to sponsors and internal team members • Participate in Clinical Data Management initiatives • Design and program tools supporting database design and data management tasks

🎯 Requirements

• B.Sc. in Biological Sciences or Computer Science • One year clinical database design experience, such as developing clinical databases in DFdiscover, InForm, Medidata Rave, Clinical One, and/or other EDC systems • Software programming experience relevant to the programming languages and design applications in use in clinical research • Effective oral and written communication with personnel on all professional and administrative levels • Excellent interpersonal skills in complex team situations • Ability to build relationships with internal and external clients • Ability to effectively organize and integrate the activities of information processing personnel • Well-organized and able to work independently and manage multiple projects/tasks appropriately
