📋 Description

• Support strategy, research, analytics, and/or value communications projects • Support management of project activities, team members, and clients • Liaise with project stakeholders • Conduct structured or systematic searches of medical literature • Critically review, interpret, and synthesize medical literature • Develop drafts of publications, including manuscripts, abstracts, and posters • Develop technical reports and slide decks • Liaise with key opinion leaders, including clinicians and health economists • Review, edit, and format draft documents • Perform quality assurance on written materials • Develop product dossiers, value messages, marketing and sales materials, clinical summaries, and objection handlers • Provide copyediting and formatting support on final documents • Support preparation of slides for project-related meetings and calls • Attend, participate in, and possibly lead project meetings • Support preparation of written client communications • May supervise and/or train junior staff and help set project scope, timelines, and strategy • Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• MSc or PhD degree in a medical- or mathematics-related field such as biology, epidemiology, pharmacology, health economics, or statistics • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a medical/scientific writer • Strong attention to detail • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills • Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking capabilities • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with peers, senior management, and clients • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a sometimes high-pressure environment • Ability to adapt to shifting internal and client-related priorities/timelines • Technically competent with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Proficiency with EndNote is an asset • Some travel may be required • Overtime and/or weekend/evening hours may be required to meet project deadlines • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including reaching, grasping, standing and/or sitting for long periods, walking, talking, hearing, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 25 pounds
