📋 Description

• Assist the US-based General Counsel in planning and developing the legal function • Work with the legal team in Ireland using a follow-the-sun working methodology • Draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts with customers, partners, and service providers • Support more junior members of the legal team • Provide timely legal counsel on commercial contracts, privacy and data protection, policies and procedures, corporate governance, intellectual property, employment law, and related topics • Apply risk management techniques and provide proactive advice on commercial transactions • Communicate, negotiate, and resolve issues with colleagues and external parties • Handle complex matters involving multiple stakeholders • Monitor changes in applicable rules and legislation and develop expertise in new practice areas • Collaborate with the General Counsel, Legal & Compliance, Sales, Finance, and other organizational stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• US-qualified lawyer / attorney • At least 8 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in related areas of law • Experience with commercial contracts, especially technology / SaaS contracts • Highest standards of professional ethics and integrity • Solid understanding of commercial law and its commercial consequences • Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information • Outstanding organizational and communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative team environment • Ability to innovate and solve problems creatively and quickly • Ability to maintain personal and professional responsibility
