• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to analyse, document, and validate business requirements for Guidewire BillingCenter implementations and enhancements. • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate configuration and customisation of Guidewire BillingCenter modules. • Support the design and configuration of billing workflows, billing instructions, financial transactions, and related processes. • Provide functional expertise in BillingCenter workflows such as Delinquency, Disbursement, Write-offs, and Suspense processing. • Analyze and document invoicing, billing plans, and instalment processing requirements based on business rules and policy structures. • Collaborate with integration teams to support external system interfaces (e.g., via REST/SOAP APIs or messaging). • Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and business process mapping to ensure solution alignment with enterprise objectives. • Assist in UAT planning and execution, including test case validation and issue triage. • Serve as the liaison between business, QA, and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project scope. • Contribute to Agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives) as part of a cross-functional team.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst working with Guidewire BillingCenter (version 9.x or later preferred). • Strong understanding of Guidewire BillingCenter capabilities, configuration options, and key modules. • Solid knowledge of billing business processes, including invoicing, delinquency management, write-offs, disbursements, and payment plans. • Experience gathering requirements and creating functional documentation, user stories, and process flows. • Familiarity with Guidewire data model, Integration Framework, and related technologies. • Working knowledge of SQL and data querying for business validation and analysis. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with globally distributed teams. • Preferred Skills: Guidewire BillingCenter Business Analyst Certification (or equivalent). • Exposure to other Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter). • Understanding of insurance domain concepts such as policy lifecycle, billing schedules, and account management. • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools for documentation and collaboration. • Familiarity with CI/CD environments, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), or DevOps practices is a plus. • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement. • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms. • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Collaborative mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality business outcomes.
