📋 Description

• Manage and support accounting staff • Organize and allocate workloads across teams • Ensure compliance with the firm’s internal procedures and quality standards • Support the professional development of team members • Verify the compliance of accounting files before approval • Review accounting, tax, and regulatory work • Ensure compliance with filing obligations and statutory deadlines • Conduct file reviews before tax returns are submitted • Ensure compliance with AML/CFT procedures • Check the completeness and compliance of client files • Identify regulatory risks and areas requiring attention • Escalate technical, tax, or regulatory issues to the Chartered Accountant / CPA • Prepare the information required for decision-making • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the firm’s processes • Conduct follow-up meetings with clients when necessary • Answer technical questions from teams and clients • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction

🎯 Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in an accounting practice • Proven experience supervising accounting teams • Strong understanding of accounting and tax matters affecting small businesses • Excellent knowledge of general accounting and taxation • Good knowledge of regulatory requirements and AML procedures • Ability to analyze complex files and identify risks • Strong commitment to quality control • Leadership skills and a strong sense of responsibility • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Analytical mindset and sound decision-making ability • Excellent interpersonal and client-service skills • Self-motivated and proactive
