📋 Description

• Own key aspects of the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, investigation of reconciling items, and maintenance of supporting schedules • Review and reconcile cash applications in QuickBooks Online and Salesforce • Monitor accounts receivable balances, partner with the Billing team on collections, and resolve payment discrepancies • Oversee accounts payable, including vendor invoice review, weekly payment runs, and ACH, wire, and other electronic payments • Administer monthly commission calculations and payroll processing for 80+ employees • Manage and process employee expense reports according to company policies • Support external audits by preparing schedules, responding to auditor requests, and coordinating PBC documentation • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation • Monitor shared finance inboxes and respond to inquiries from employees, vendors, customers, banks, auditors, and other business partners • Partner with Event Operations to monitor event budgets, cost of sales, and financial performance • Provide financial analysis and recommendations for event planning and execution • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and increase operational efficiency • Assist with special projects and other accounting and finance initiatives as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle month-end close • Hands-on experience managing both AR and AP functions, including cash application, collections, vendor invoice review, and electronic payments • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (or similar ERP) and Excel • Salesforce experience a plus • Experience administering payroll and/or commission calculations for 50+ employees, with strong accuracy and discretion • Prior experience supporting external audits, including PBC documentation, schedule preparation, and auditor inquiries • Strong cross-functional communication skills and ability to partner with non-finance teams and manage multiple stakeholder relationships
