• Manage and resolve employee relations issues to guarantee a fair, respectful, and legally compliant workplace • Promote a positive work environment, handle investigations, and advise leaders on labor law and internal policies • Provide expert guidance to managers and employees on employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and workplace conduct • Lead impartial investigations into workplace issues (complaints, harassment, discrimination, misconduct, and terminations) • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of employee relations cases, audits, and compliance reviews • Deliver training and workshops on labor law, conflict management, and company policies • Collaborate with HR and Engagement teams to mitigate risks, strengthen workplace climate, and promote a culture free of discrimination and personnel conflicts
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field • Master's degree or relevant certifications • 3+ years in employee relations, labor relations, or HR roles within multinational or large organizations in Costa Rica • In-depth understanding of Costa Rican labor law, disciplinary processes, investigation procedures, work-related regulations and legislation applicable to remote work • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems • Advanced English and Spanish (written and spoken) • Certification in labor law or employee relations • Experience managing work related cases and policies • Influence and coach leaders at all levels • Experience managing employee relations in hybrid/remote environments
