• Generate leads through existing and new contacts for business in the field of FTL & LTL by approaching new clients • Daily Sales calls visit customers • Focus on winning and maintaining a profitable business. • Develop and maintain a good relationship with the client. • Develop a system for strong payment follow-up and take responsibility for outstanding Payments. • Oversee and manage the dispatches and acknowledgment-receiving processes of a company. • Collaborate with various stakeholders and manage transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of goods. • On-board Trucks and delivery partners, ensuring quality and customer centricity. • Ensure SLAs promised to the customer are met and restore operations when issues arise. • Hire, coach and mentor a team of Supervisors. • Implement performance metrics and report on logistics effectiveness.
• Prior experience in logistics, e-commerce, B2B, and D2C industries, with a focus on transportation and supply chain management. • Familiarity with the local logistics landscape, including knowledge of key transport partners and their capabilities. • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word for data management, analysis and reporting. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. • High level of ownership & commitment to maintaining data confidentiality, Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. • Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and operational requirements. • Should be well versed with the demographics of the region and willingness to travel between different cities.
