📋 Description

• Lead Feathr's Engineering teams in refining, hardening, and improving its existing nonprofit marketing platform • Define the technology vision and operating plan with the CEO • Raise execution, mentorship, and process standards with tech leads • Identify and prioritize technical debt, performance, reliability, and customer-facing improvements • Build engineering management capability by coaching and developing tech leads • Determine where formal management roles are needed • Oversee planning and execution of product refinements and upgrades • Ensure quality and service readiness • Own budget, performance management, and career development for tech leads and the broader team • Define, track, and report product maturity metrics including defect rates, performance, uptime/reliability, support resolution time, and customer satisfaction • Balance customer needs and support escalations with broader product priorities • Collaborate daily with Product, Customer Success, Managed Services, and other cross-functional stakeholders • Define and improve the technical support triage process and stakeholder touchpoints • Allocate limited engineering capacity for highest customer impact • Participate in customer calls as needed to represent the technical perspective • Maintain documentation of engineering processes, decisions, and standards • Lead Feathr's AI transformation by shaping practices and standards around Claude and agentic AI

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of engineering leadership experience • 10+ years of formal software development experience • Experience leading through a mature/steady-state product phase • Experience developing tech leads into engineering managers or building a management layer • Experience driving adoption, rollout, and governance of AI coding tools across engineering teams • Experience managing AI coding-tool impact metrics • Deep knowledge of modern software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and development practices • Track record improving product quality, performance, or usability in an established codebase • B2B SaaS experience strongly preferred • MarTech or adjacent-vertical experience is a plus • Comfortable with architecture and code-quality discussions and roadmap planning • Strong communication across engineering, executive, and customer-facing audiences • Must be located within the United States • Must be legally authorized to work within the United States • Must not require employment visa sponsorship
