📋 Description

• Produce high-quality construction documentation in accordance with project schedules and standards • Work in partnership with Project Managers, Client Managers, Architects, Engineers, and CAD Technicians • Prepare complex architectural and engineering construction drawings for residential and commercial projects using AutoCAD Architecture and/or Revit • Perform thorough self-review before submitting work to a supervisor • Maintain regular communication with the Project Management team regarding project status • Apply Fieldstone’s quality control procedures and take ownership of work • Maintain standards for file and folder management, including submittals, RFIs, and project records • Comply with Fieldstone and client-specific CAD and file-management standards • Participate in team meetings to resolve coordination, scheduling, and technical issues • Document time and expenses using Fieldstone’s business management system • Foster external and internal client service • Adhere to ethical standards and codes of professional conduct • Develop professional and leadership skills within the firm • Comply with laws and regulations governing architecture practice • Participate in community activities and professional development activities • Understand project delivery technologies and policies governing supervision of design work • Maintain positive relationships with clients and consultants and a cooperative work environment • Prepare diagrams illustrating spatial relationships and functional adjacencies • Assist with building code analysis and coordination of building components and systems • Prepare design alternatives for client review • Communicate design ideas to the internal project team • Prepare submittals for regulatory approval

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design or Construction related field or significant experience in a professional environment drafting residential and/or commercial construction documentation • 2+ years of experience • AutoCAD Architecture, Revit or Sapphire Build required • Knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction techniques, construction documents, and CAD concepts • Knowledge of building codes • CAD/BIM drafting skills required • Knowledge of 3D Modeling software is a plus • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign graphic software is a plus • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Consistent ability to successfully meet deadlines • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing • Ability to focus in a busy team environment and utilize strong time-management skills • Ability to successfully multitask • Positive, “can do” attitude in high-stress situations • Commitment to “world class customer service”
